PAF-01 Automatic Cat Feeder, Panel Control 5L Programmable

Our schedules are everywhere and we can't always be there to feed when we're supposed to. So at the threats of our 4 fur babies, I shopped for automatic feeders. I spent almost an entire day looking through feeders, trying to find something that hits all the check marks for a very pickey cat mom.
When I almost thought I had to settle on some expensive bowls that still didn't have all the features I wanted, I found these!
Assembly was a breeze! I didn't even have to look at the instructions, that's how easy it was to understand where all the parts went. Everything latches together so nothing will go flying when those midnight zoomies hit. Even the lid latches on so no creature without thumbs can open it and cheat on their mandatory diet. Even the box it came in got approval from the warden!
The bowls are wide and shallow, which is absolutely perfect for our kitty overlords and their sensitive little whiskers. And the added bonus is the legs! You can absolutely use this without them. I personally like having it elevated so the cats can have another place to hide that old bird toy I keep forgetting to throw away.
I also was looking for something that DIDN'T have that weird funnel thing coming from the front to shoot the food everywhere. Everything with that had reviews about how hard it was to adjust and have the food evenly divided between the bowls. No thank you.
And then the programing! I was expecting at least a somewhat harder time with this, since I've never played with an automatic feeder before. But this was too easy! The instructions are super clear and easy to follow. I think the hardest part was trying to guess a serving size for the gremlins. And even after playing with it I was able to reset easily and adjust everything back.
I personally love that I can record a message as well! Now the cats can fein love and care for me when I tell them it's time to eat!
Overall, it's an amazing design that is super easy to use. It's cat and cat parent friendly with no complexity about it. I will absolutely be referring this to every kitten underling I know!

I've used this feeder daily for months and have loved the ease, and peace of mind, it has provided. My vet suggested moving to a 3x/day feeding schedule, and working full time did not help with keeping a regular schedule for the mid-day feeding. The hardest part was finding the portion size of the feeding, as it wasn't in the instruction pamphlet, and only on the Amazon listing. This isn't helpful if the listing is eventually removed from Amazon for any reason. (By the way, one portion is 1/6 of a cup)

This feeder has been a huge help with giving my both my cats a dosed feeding mid-day, reliably. I was worried about it failing and even put a camera on it to track the daily feedings until I was comfortable that it functioned as intended. My cats love the voice recording of me and bolt towards the bowl when they hear the typical feeding call I give them. The feeder allows up to six feedings per day, but I've only used it for three. Adjusting it from the one feeding/day to three/day and back is easy.

Another plus is that I can now occasionally go out of town for the weekend and not stress about when the cat sitter checks on them, because the feeder will be on time and the sitter will just be there for company when possible each day. It also has a battery back-up so that I do not have to have a fear about the power going out and interrupting the feeding program.

It includes multiple locks to keep the smartest pet out. I appreciate that for my genius cat who figures out locks and touch screens easily. I also love that the stainless steel plates are removable for easy deep cleaning. Lastly, I enjoy that the clouded container allows me to see how much food is left, but it is not clear enough to show any oil and crumbs that the cat food naturally leaves behind when it touches something.

I bought the two bowl feeder because I have two cats who love to eat and Im glad I got this because they always run to the bowls when its meal time! Another reason I bought this is that I was afraid that they were eating too much and that could cause disease. I can set meal times up to 10 times a day I think and I can set up portions of each meal. I tried different portions for few days and now I know what portion is the best for them. One feature I miss from my previous feeder is that this does not have a voice recording feature. But its okay! I sometimes randomly feed them through the app and maybe its better not to have my voice recorded.

Its been working great. Perfect portions. Can change at anytime. Easy to use app.

Liked the feeder. It works but there are some things that could be improved.
There should be some kind of warning on the app about the food level and especially when it's running low.
