The feed schedule and current time you set before will save via the backup power of batteries, even if there's no power. When power is back, you don't need to set it again, which saves time and effort.

I really like the wide, shallow bowls. I also love the anti-stuck design, where the motor goes in reverse to dislodge the kibble when it jams. It must the the brand of food I buy (its shape), but this has been a problem I've struggled with before. I also like that it can be programmed via an app on my phone. This model doesn't have the voice record, but I don't use that feature on my other cat feeders, so I don't miss that at all. The sound of the food hitting the bowl is loud enough to get their attention. Of the three cat feeders I have, this one is probably my favorite.
I bought this because I was going on vacation, but it wound up having an awesome impact on my cats happiness. I had an issue where we have a fat cat and a skinny cat. The fat cat eats all the food, and the skinny cat was usually not interested in the food at the time of feeding and would come back to no food later. This feeder allowed me to set up small portions to be distributed throughout the day. The cats get so excited when it goes off that they both run to it, even the skinny cat! I love that the bowls are separated, and it even has a divider, so my cats eat at the same time and both get equal portions. I can see a healthier difference in both of their weights, and they both seem so much happier! They also fight less! Its seriously the best thing ever for a 2 cat household.
One thing to note is make sure your wifi is compatible with it before you buy it. Luckily mine was, but it took a little figuring out to get it set up. Once set up, it runs perfectly.
After looking through tons of feeders, I decided on this one and was glad I did. Have only had it for 2 months and works well. We have 3 cats. 2 get along well and the 3rd is older and to herself. The 2 cats that are always together run to this feeder when its time to eat and the older cat runs to the single auto feeder we already had. I love how it stores a lot of food and knowing I can feed my cats if Im not home.

Liked the feeder. It works but there are some things that could be improved.
There should be some kind of warning on the app about the food level and especially when it's running low.
